Sasha Litvintseva and Beny Wagner are artists, filmmakers, researchers and writers. Working collaboratively across text, lectures and film since 2017, we are delighted to share two of their films, the collaborative project My Want of You Partakes of Me (2023), premiered as part of Tate Modern’s SCIENCE, BODY, ANATOMY event; and their first collaborative film A Demonstration. The two works [part of a trilogy] “look at the different ways the boundaries between the body and the world have been negotiated throughout history.” Their shared practice has been driven by questions about the thresholds between the body and its surroundings, knowledge regimes and power, modes of organising and perceiving the natural world.
This event is part of our expanded ecologies programme, supporting new perspectives towards lives and experiences in the Morecambe Bay area.
